Hello Steam Support,
Ok, I basically bought Black Ops from a cd key selling site which I know is legit.
However, the language of the game is in Russian, now I have got all the language files for Steam and have managed to change nearly all of it to English.
Although, I really would like to have the full English version on my Steam account. And I don't want to have to spend another £35-£40 just to make the remaining 10% of the game changed to English. Plus it would mean I'd have to get a new Steam account and everything. Which I don't want to have to go through.
So I am asking you now as you have ALWAYS provided me with excellent support in the past, can you change my Russian version of Black Ops to the English version? It's not fair I paid the full price and it turns out not to be in English.
I hope you can help me, and please don't say "just create another account and buy it in English" as that is just unfair on me as I always buy games from you and will buy many more in the future.
Please help me guys.
Thanks

Hello Daniel,
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
The version of the game is only dependent on the territory it was purchased in.
Users who purchase a game from a different territory will receive the content included in that territory's version of the game.
Steam Support is unable to make changes to the version of the game you received.

I see, and there is nothing you can do?
Perhaps you could remove the version I already have, and give me a 50% discount when I buy the English version.
If I have to rebuy it I will, however I would like to have it on my Steam account.

Hello Daniel,
I can assist you in permanently removing the game from your account. However, this item will not be refunded and will not be accessible any further.
You will then be able to purchase a new copy of the game if you would like.
If you would like to proceed with this process, please let us know.

I will do this in the future when I some more money. Why can I not get a
refund? Could I at least have a discount?
Thanks
