Recent player UAC3 scan results

after a few aligations last night playrs decided to partake in a uac3 coverd private match, view the results above.

ill try running it this weekend if it makes it unplayable ill have to wait till christmas whn i upgrade to wind 7 and 64bit more ram and new mother board

What are your PC specs Danny? It shouldn't matter too much running a program or two when you play, but I'm guessing that I don't feel anything is because I have 4GB of RAM but apart from that my Graphics Card is the best (NOT, who wants a Intel 64 Chipset or whatever it is called). I think your RAM is what's letting you down but Ima upgrade soon enough too!

If you get the time, just say what your specs are, I think I might be able to give you a LITTLE boost to your PC.

i have the same pc as you.

i can run mw2 maxed @ 1900x1200 on a radeon 4770 with my cpu running @ oc 3.2ghz

but i choose to run it at 1900x1200 with most eye candy turned off.

currently i still have the same cpu and spec below

your problems are not your cpu, im inclined to believe its your net connection as i seen the way you stutter sometimes in games.

as part of the fault finding process i would say do this in this order before you spend.

1. clean install of win 7
2. overclock your cpu (go into bios and set the fsb from 266 to 333 thats it)
3. over clock your gfx with what eva official nvidia tool is out atm)
4. increase your ram to 4gb dual chanel ( 2 identical 2gb sticks inserted into the correct slots )

after this i would suggest

5. get a free trial of more powerfull internet speed, ntl let me try 100mb for a month for free it made no noticeable difference to my gaming over my standard 10mb connection.

6. still probs? time to spend mate and first thing is gfx a 6950 1gb if your gaming at lower res like 17 inch monitor or 2gb if you got 24 inch monitor (or the nvidia eqivalent)

7. as you have the same set up as me i would say upgrading your mb and cpu is not necessary but this would be my last option.

8. an SSD solid state drive with windows and steam on it (totally over kill but very nice)

we should get like 20 meg but i only get 2 i run at my dads on xbox at 1.3 and i dont ever lag there
