Need Windows 7

Guys I need your help

Basically im getting sick of vista and its random spoony moments, so I was thinkin bout going onto windows 7. First of all I dont wanna have to pay for it and sceondly i dunno where i get it for free without having windows on my case. is this possible?

I've never done this sort of thing before but its come to a point where I dont think my pc will last much longer than another half a year without doing something to it.

also I remember a while a back when upgrading my RAM that someone advised me that gettin 4GB of RAM was pointless on vista, so I opted to only upgrade to 2GB. But with windows 7 im defo sure it could hold 4GB of RAM, but its whether my pc will be able to handle it. This is my current specs of my pc:

As you've probably guessed Im not too great with the inner workings on a pc so any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi mate, I would upgrade to 4GB as it will improve the overall performance, I would just buy Windows 7 64bit, 32bit won't allow you to use anymore than 3.25gb/3.5gb of ram. It costs about £66 for the home premium version.

Unless your a student there is no way of getting it cheaper, unless you go down the other route which i don't really recommend.

ok so downloaded a version of windows 7 that andy gave, but im having massive trouble tryin to burn it to dvd, i've used poweriso and free isoburner software but nothing has seemed to work. so then i tried to use my laptop to burn it but when i inserted the dvd into it, the drive no longer came up in my computer nor was it recognised by the free isoburner software

WTF?!
